Hi, my name is Madison Hoo, and welcome to my page!
My personal work explores the idea of family and how I have come to terms that family may not be rooted in blood, but by surrounding yourself with the people who love you for the way you are. I approach my work by trying to find ways to cope with trauma as an adult, creating my work as a means of discovering comfort within myself. I have always been fascinated with psychology, art therapy, and animal therapy in particular. With that being said, I research into how color, form, and touch are perceived by our brains to achieve the most effective form of comfort within my work.
In addition, I am a self-taught graphic designer who has experience in magazine layout and creating graphics for social media / online platforms.
